Mastery of the English language is expected. Understanding the fundamentals of great digital writing and what connects with an online audience is essential, as you will be producing highly engaging social media content for our varied Members.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:**
Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
**Content Creation**
– Produce social media content for a variety of Members, from post ideation through final editorial approval
– Conducting in-depth research on a wide range of topics, competitors, and target audiences to develop original content.
**Editorial Review**
– Collaborate with editors and Members during the editorial review process to ensure all content meets our editorial standards and Member expectations
**Continuous Improvement**
– Provide feedback on systems, tools and processes and help us continually improve our content production operation
**WHO YOU ARE**
You’re a passionate, motivated, and skilled content writer.
You understand the importance of mastering a client’s authentic style and voice. You are great at turning content ideas into fully written drafts, and you are skilled at writing on tight deadlines. You know how to balance proven social media techniques and frameworks with writing that is substantiated, thorough and high-quality.
We have a strong preference for candidates who have written social media content for business leaders before (specifically for LinkedIn and Twitter) and have a body of work that demonstrates their ability.
An impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions is a requirement.

– **Detail oriented** – attention to detail matters, and you probably have caught typos while reading widely published works (which we hope annoyed you!)
– **Intellectually curious** – you love learning new things, and are eager to quickly dive into new topics, subject matter, industries, and domains of importance
– **Responsive communicator** – you are responsive in communication during business hours, both via email and phone, and close all open loops
– **Reliable** – you take pride in not only the high quality of your work, but also in your reputation for delivering each assignment on deadline consistently
**REQUIREMENTS:**
– 2+ years of experience creating engaging social media content
– Experience creating quality content for LinkedIn and Twitter
– Deep understanding of social media concepts, formats and techniques
– Superb written and verbal communication skills
– The ability to produce quality content on deadline in a fast-paced environment
– The ability to create content for numerous Members on parallel content calendars
– Ability to learn and write content on technical topics including entrepreneurship, venture capital, technology, health and wellness, and more
– Ability to interact professionally with C-suite executives
**EDUCATION BACKGROUND:**
– A college education is not required, but if you did go to college, it would probably be for Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
