Job Description

We are looking for an effective Social Media Content Writer who has a talent for writing while working remotely. As a Social Media Content Writer, you are expected to have excellent writing and organization skills. We are searching for someone who can read example content and then write similarly to match the client’s brand voice. A successful candidate will be able to watch loom training and copy the working style. Lastly, the candidate will also provide excellent service and support with the purpose of delivering an exceptional client experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Write engaging content for blogs
Content writing for social media posts 
Schedule social media posts to different platforms such as Hootsuite, Facebook, and others
Optimize the content on social media to reach a larger audience
Search for UGC (user-generated content) from social media posts to feature in our calendars 
e.g. Finding a nice sunset picture taken by a tourist, to feature on a travel page
Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original and/or trendy content
Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
Perform relevant tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Social Media Specialist, Content Writer, or equivalent
Background in communication, journalism and digital marketing is a plus 
A strong portfolio of published articles, blogs, and/or contents
Proficient with different social media sites
Familiar with Google Drive, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Clickup/Basecamp, Loom, Loading blogs to websites like WordPress, Wix
In-home office setup including Mac or PC Computer (including webcam for team meetings) with minimum i3 processor, 8Gb, and the most recent version of MS Office installed
A fast and reliable internet connection
Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
Extremely self-motivated with strong time management
Must be highly organized and open to a fast-paced, dynamic role
Must be focused on keeping business owners organized and supported in their role
Must be able to assist and act in a confidential capacity
Must be a “go-getter” and a self-motivated individual
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet or beat deadlines with less to no errors
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new concepts

This is for a full-time position and the work schedule would be during EST business hours (40 hours per week). The successful candidate will be working closely and directly with the client. ????
