Job Description

Hi! I am looking for a talented Social Media Content Copywriter to join my very small but growing business!

As the voice behind the brands we support, you’ll work closely with my Social Media designer and craft compelling and engaging copy intended to be posted on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

The writing work you will be doing includes: writing content for social media posts, crafting captions, and leaving engaging/fun social media comments.

Your knack for storytelling and understanding different industries and audience nuances will drive brand awareness and engagement. Some of the industries we support are business coaching, life coaching, healthcare (eg. physical therapy, health insurance), and real estate.

The person I am looking for will be directly writing copy for social media content and engaging on social media (leaving in-depth, thoughtful comments and reposting stories) of our healthcare client. This position does not entail graphic design, but you collaborate with the designer!)

If you’re a creative wordsmith with a passion for social media trends, excellent English writing skills, and the ability to adapt your tone/voice/language to different industries we want to hear from you!

What I ask:

– Exceptional English writing skills with a creative flair
– A good understanding of social media content
– Ability to adapt tone and style for diverse audiences (eg. from easygoing, to silly, to informal to professional)
– Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
– Storytelling and knowledge of social media platforms and trends is preferable
– Email marketing is a plus
– Openness to being coached
