Hi!

We are a thriving e-commerce business that has been serving the baby and family market for the last 10+ years.

We are looking for a Social Media Assistant/Coordinator who will help with the creation, distribution of content on all our SM platforms together with our Marketing Manager.

You will help with increasing our presence on our current platforms while keeping a keen eye on industry trends to engage our current audience through answering questions and replies.

Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic Social Media users with a passion for customer service and the technical know-how to make sure that the content that is put outreaches a wider audience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordination:
– Assist in preparing ‘Calendar of Content’
– Assist in creating content/posts that highlight the quality of our customer service, the utility features of our products, customer reviews, customer submitted pictures
– Help generating content ideas for TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts
– Assist in finding materials/contents that is already available in various locations ie Brandbox, FB, Google Drive, Dropbox; this may be requested by other departments ie Design, Marketing teams
– Assist in maintaining relationships with past collaborators and influencers
– Effectively communicate with customers via various support channels, creating brand advocates
– Drive customer satisfaction and enhance the brand, through championing products and educating customers

Routine:
– Moderate comments on the our private FB group of 3700+ members
– Updating of holiday logos and banners to be consistent with the current company event/program theme in all of the channels and/or platforms
– Updating hashtag lists bi-weekly with relevant/trending hashtags
– Consistently interact with influencer/potential influencer posts and of other companies in the same category/niche as our business
– Occasionally review IG followers for new potential influencers
– Support our VIP Ambassador group with posts and new applications review and approval

Reports:
– Prepare FB/IG posts analytics tracking (spreadsheets format)
– Continually monitor activity, ensuring that responses are tailored according to our products’ brand personality, answering all questions fully and accurately or directing directing more difficult questions to our customer service team
– Customer service follow-up, tracking and monitoring, including maintaining logs and tracker reports, ensuring all interactions are documented and followed through

Others:
– Searching for potential influencers or 2.0 members for outreach and diversity
– Gathering/ tallying/ confirming giveaway entries and selecting a winner
– Can harness Social Media channels to educate brand followers and influencers increasing product knowledge and reach

REQUIREMENTS

– Fluency in written and spoken English
– Customer Focus – demonstrates at least 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar customer service environment or in social media
– Social Media – must have experience using popular social media platforms and cultural understanding of social media trends, – developments, memes, etc. would be preferred
– Specialist Expertise – demonstrates excellent technical proficiency and reasonable knowledge of the internet, can communicate technical issues to other team members
– Effective Communication – creative writing skills – ability to repeat the same message, written in many different ways
– Working with others – team player with patience to learn and adapt to our brand personality. Takes an active role in generating a pleasant productive and professional working environment
– Planning & Organizing – ability to plan and prioritize workload, and work on their own accord.
– Resilience – demonstrates resilience and ability to work on own initiative
– Problem Solving – demonstrates problem solving and troubleshooting skills
