Social Media Coordinator

We are looking for a qualified and experienced ‘Social Media Coordinator’ to join our team. The Social media coordinator ensures the editorial calendar and coordinates our content published on Instagram and Facebook. The content will be created both by yourself and by external content creators. You will help us to increase the interactions with/from our community, collaborate with influencers, follow trends, define content needs and track content performance. You work remotely, full-time (8h/day) and are available during our office hours at least from 9am till 3pm (GMT +2 – CST).

1. Ideal candidate must be an experienced Social media coordinator and content creator with demonstrable creative writing and storytelling skills. Your responsibilities:

• Ensure the editorial calendar of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok is ready on time and approved by the necessary team members
• Own content creation : Posts, reels and stories
• Coordinate efforts of external content creators and ensure the quality of the output
• Follow trends and define content needs
• Community management for Instagram and Facebook
o Management of the different inboxes: answer direct messages and relay customer service requests
o Respond to likes, comments, shares, mentions from followers
o Follow interesting accounts and launch discussions accordingly
• Collaboration with influencers
• Continuous improvements of social media visual templates
• Ensure the respect and proper implementation of the brand guidelines
• Track content performance and social channel KPIs and adapt content accordingly

2. Experience & Qualification:

a. Native English writer – 3 years of experience
b. Bachelor’s degree in communication and/or marketing
c. Previous experience in video creation for social media
d. Very good knowledge with the eco-friendly / zero-waste movement
e. Excellent organizational and time management skills
f. Attention to details and Slack presence
