Social Media Coordinator
The perfect Jiver is a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, self-starter with at least 6 months Social Media experience complemented with time management and organization skills, a committed work ethic, capable of taking initiative and strong writing and social media skills. We’re looking for that all-star with a lot of creativity, spunk, and most importantly, an obsession with social media. Must be knowledgeable in Instagram and TikTok basic video editing skills.
The role will include working closely with the executive level team, other account team members, as well as clients on specific day-to-day deliverables to implement Social Media campaigns.
Jive is in the midst of expanding and bringing on more clients. In order to maintain the personal, ‘boutique’ feel of the individual nurturing relationships with these clients, the perfect candidate will be integral in making this transition happen. A focus on client service and building loyalty is key.
Main Job Duties
Your role would include, but not be limited to the following:
Content Creation – Create engaging copy, images and video across a range of social media platforms
TikTok Video Creation – Filming, editing and brainstorming for a roster of clients. You must be comfortable creating content and be in-front of the camera.
You must know the daily trending sounds on TikTok , follow the trends in social media, fashion, lifestyle/pop culture, and appropriately apply that knowledge to create viral content.
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and Youtube
Support in the development and execution of strategies that provide solutions
Plan and implement dynamic and impactful social media campaigns
Support on multiple accounts across a variety of industries, day-to-day client support
Manage community engagement and follower growth within social media channels
Proficient in Canva & Sprout Social
Research audience preferences and current trends on social media
Support senior team members as needed
Prepare weekly status reports, analytics and wrap reports for clients

Minimum 6 months work experience in the Social Media field
Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Excellent communication skills – oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of social media strategy, campaigns, execution and analytics
Detail-orientation, organizational, and strong time management skills
A positive, enthusiastic, results driven, ‘can-do’ attitude to your work.
A people person who thrives within a team environment, working well and confidently with others – though equally reliable when working on your own initiative.

You can work remotely from anywhere in the world, as long as you work on PST/EST hours and are accessible via Slack throughout the work day.
