Mahjong Pros is an e-commerce startup dedicated to professional mahjong, mahjong accessories, and mahjong education. Our dynamic team is growing, and we are seeking a Social Media Manager to bolster our presence on social media platforms.

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in creating visually stunning and engaging content across various platforms, enhancing our brand presence, and supporting our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with mahjong and demonstrate proficiency in Adobe, Canva, Capcut, and/or other graphic design and video software.

Job Responsibilities:

– Oversees social media management and a calendar across platforms such as Instagram, X (Twitter), Pinterest, Blogs, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, and Quora
– Handle video editing for short-form and long-form content
– Help define social media projects, assist in tracking progress, and communicating progress to stakeholders
– Present monthly social media trends and make suggestions for channel improvement
– Update company KPI dashboards on a regular basis, and uncover insights related to trend changes
– Create and maintain project documentation, including SOPs, task lists, project timelines, and status reports.

Qualifications:

– At least 6 months experience in social media management in marketing or a related field
– Must understand Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Quora, YouTube and TikTok
– MUST BE ABLE TO DO REELS, VIDEOS, AND ADS
– Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or relevant experience;
– A solid understanding of social media marketing for business and trends;
– Must have sample articles for previous work, and reviews, to consider.
– Must know how to Schedule content out and post it to all our accounts. 2-3 posts a day
– Must be able to meet once a week to come up with the week’s plan.
– Must be creative, witty, and bring ideas to the table.
– Established ability to handle multiple projects and meet agile deadlines
– Excellent creative and creative problem-solving skills
– An understanding of advertising concepts and strategies to create, utilize, and measure campaigns on social media.
– Problem-solving skills and ability to learn and escalate issues appropriately.
– Have experience working with US customers in a similar role (e.g., marketing assistant, digital marketer).
– Must know how to schedule post or post in Central Time Zone
– Strong written and verbal English skills.
