Required Technical Skills:
– Must be fluent in English
– 3 to 5+ years of experience in graphic design and social media
Duties and Deliverables:
Graphic Design
– Edit photos (enhance lighting, color balance, exposure, contrast, vibrancy, saturation and overall image quality).
– Design social media graphics, banner ads, and collateral
– Create and edit videos using templates and video editing software.
SOCIAL MEDIA
***Campaign and Content Creation***
– Develop a social media editorial calendar
– Research, curate, and create original content for @GenaPennOfficial social media platforms.
– Collaborate with owner, as needed, to create unique and creative content and social media experiences.
– Develop campaign and social media strategies.
***Platform/Content/Community Management***
– Manage social media platforms.
– Schedule content using Facebook Business Suite and Later app (Reels).
– Follow and engage with target audiences and influencers (commenting, liking, asking questions).
***Social Graphics***
– Design campaign graphics and content (posts/copy, videos, stories, etc.).
***Social Advertising*** [A MAJOR PLUS if you know Facebook and Instagram advertising]
– Manage social media advertising campaigns
– Assist with social media advertising campaigns
– Brainstorm advertising campaigns.
– Develop draft copy and creative for ads.
– Monitor industry advertising strategies and recommend new ideas.
– NOTE: In your cover letter, include the number of our Instagram followers.
***Performance Growth***
– Support and manage strategies that enhance:
* Email engagement: opens, clicks, list growth, and downloads
* Website performance: page views, bounce rate, and time on page
* Social media engagement: shares, likes, and followers across all platforms
* Search rankings where content ranks organically high on search engines
* Conversions: traffic from subscribers, sales, marketing qualified leads
***Analytics, Research & Reports***
– Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure social media (and advertising effectiveness).
– Conduct customer, competitor, influencer, and other types of research
– Conduct market research.
– Measure effectiveness of social media strategy and engagement.
– Monitor trends and set goals for channel growth.
– Review social media analytics and user feedback to understand trends and content effectiveness.
– Compile data into reports.
– Prepare social media campaign reports.
– Submit progress report of deliverables.
