Objectives of this role:
As a Social Media Manager + Virtual Assistant (VA), the primary goal is to effectively manage and enhance the online presence of the company through various social media platforms. The ideal candidate should possess creativity, strong communication skills, and proficiency in social media management tools.
Responsibilities:
Create and post engaging social media updates
– Update and edit the website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
– Actively engage with our audience on social media platforms by commenting, following, and liking posts to foster engagement and increase followers.
– Share and re-post select social media content to broaden our online presence.
– Collate and publish regular newsletters to keep our audience informed about updates, events, and promotions.
Required skills and qualifications:
– Experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
– Community Engagement: Foster a positive and interactive online community through engagement and conversation.
– Create marketing materials and pamphlets
– Edit and post YouTube videos, reels, etc.
– Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Preferred skills and qualifications
– Proficiency and experience in Asana, Google Workspace, and Canva
– Familiarity with newsletter platforms
– Community management across various social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
– Expertise in graphic design using Canva
