Seeking a Part-Time Social Media Manager for 2 Blogs; Canva Experience Required
Job Type: Part-Time, Remote, 15 hours per week. Flexibility is available for those who prefer a workload of 10-15 hours per week.
Are you passionate about blogging and social media? Do you have experience with Canva, simple video editing, and social media scheduling? If so, I am looking for a Virtual Assistant to join my team!
As an enthusiastic employer in the blogging and food niche, I seek a reliable, organized, and communicative individual to assist with social media and Pinterest scheduling for 2 blogs, one in the food blogging niche and one in the mental health niche.
If you have a knack for organization, creativity, and content creation, you might be the perfect addition to our team!
Requirements:
–Familiarity with Canva for graphic design.
–Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest best practices.
–Ability to engage with users on social media using pre-written templates as guides.
–Willingness to learn SmarterQueue and Tailwind for social media and Pinterest scheduling.
–Some knowledge of YouTube and TikTok.
–A self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks based on their importance.
–Reliability, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication. Willing to keep us up-to-date on your daily or weekly tasks.
Bonus Points:
Experience with blogs, food blogs, social media management, video editing, or baking is highly valued!
Your Role & Responsibilities:
As our Social Media Manager, you will be crucial in managing our content and engaging with our community. Here’s a closer look at your potential weekly tasks:
–Social Media & Pinterest: Schedule daily social media posts with captions via SmarterQueue and Pinterest pins via Tailwind, including creating new graphics on Canva using our templates.
–Engagement: Respond to comments and engage with our community on Facebook and Instagram for all blogs using pre-written templates.
–Additional Support: Assist with scheduling, content management, and content creation for our blogs as needed.
Commitment:
–A flexible schedule across at least 3 days per week, totaling 10-15 hours.
–Frequent updates on days worked to keep the team informed of progress and completed tasks.
An Example Week (days and hours worked are flexible):
Monday- 5 hours: Focus on scheduling social media posts for the upcoming month and engaging with our online community.
Wednesday- 5 hours: Dive into creating Pinterest graphics, scheduling pins, drafting captions, and engaging with the online community.
Friday-5 hours: Edit reels or Pinterest Stories and catch up on any pending tasks, including engaging with the online community.
Training & Experience:
While comprehensive training will be provided, familiarity with Canva and social media scheduling tools is essential.
It’s crucial that you can quickly and efficiently get through the weekly tasks, leaving room for other tasks such as video editing or hashtag research. Being open to tackling new tasks each week and adapting to the evolving needs of our blogs is key to success in this role.
