SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our online presence and interacting with our online community promptly and professionally. The Social Media Manager will be required to handle negative feedback and comments, identify opportunities for the sales team, and proactively engage in lead generation activities.
The incumbent will also need to effectively manage the company’s online persona and serve as an advocate for our brand on various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Curate content and strategy for all social media platforms (while maintaining brand cohesiveness and brand integrity)
Respond promptly to inquiries, comments, and messages across all social media platforms.
Effectively address negative feedback and complaints while maintaining a positive and professional image for the company.
Identify and pursue lead generation opportunities through social media engagement and strategic content dissemination.
Manage and maintain the company’s social media persona and voice, ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand’s values and goals.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential sales opportunities and develop strategies to leverage social media for increased conversions.
Analyze social media data and insights to develop comprehensive reports and actionable plans for improving the company’s online presence.
Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse online communities.
Proficiency in using social media management tools and automation tools [ManyChat]
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations and negative feedback with professionalism and tact.
A creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content for different social media platforms.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions.
Can work independently between the hours of 8 AM – 5 PM EST (occasionally on weekends if needed for events-related coverage)
Team player and can collaborate with a diverse group of individuals
