RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Developing Social Media Strategy: Creating and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
-Content Creation and Management: Developing and curating engaging content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
-Community Engagement: Monitoring and actively engaging with the community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
-Social Media Advertising: Planning and executing social media advertising campaigns (paid promotions, boosted posts, etc.) to drive traffic and conversions.
-Analytics and Reporting: Tracking and analyzing social media metrics (engagement, reach, conversion rates, etc.) to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
-Stay Updated on Trends: Keeping up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
-Brand Management: Maintaining a cohesive brand identity across all social media platforms.
-Collaboration and Coordination: Working closely with marketing, PR, and other departments to integrate social media with overall marketing strategies and campaigns.
-Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all social media activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is often preferred. While not always mandatory, relevant coursework provides foundational knowledge beneficial for the role.
-Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field.
-Demonstrated success in developing and implementing social media strategies that have driven engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.
-Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) for a business or organization.
-Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create visuals for social media posts.
-Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and website management platforms (WordPress, Drupal) may be advantageous.
-Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (marketing, PR, customer service) to align social media strategies with overall business objectives.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changes in social media trends and platforms.
-A creative mindset with a passion for exploring new ideas and experimenting with different content formats to engage audiences effectively.
-Understanding of ethical considerations related to social media use, including privacy, data protection, and brand reputation management.
