Position: Social Media Manager (full-time)

JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager with an eye for innovation and analysis. Our ideal candidate will help us keep up-to-date with the latest photography, design, and social media trends while focusing on building a strong social media presence for our brands.
The social media specialist will be responsible for researching new trends in the industry and contribute ideas that increase traffic to our site, develop unique ways for customers to engage with us on social media platforms, and help generate brand awareness through promotional campaigns.
This position is ideal for someone who can envision the implementation of new strategies and tactics while providing a detailed analysis of measurable insights. If you’re a strategic thinker with innovative ideas and a can-do attitude, you will be an asset to a growing company like ours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop social strategies and plans in collaboration with the direct report
Complete projects and meet deadlines for multiple brand activations in a fast-paced environment
Work collaboratively across multiple departments on brand initiatives and campaigns while bringing thought-provoking concepts to the forefront
Create social media content that is consistent with each brand’s personality, aesthetics, and tone of voice.
Optimizing campaigns to maximize impact while ensuring that it aligns with brand and business objectives
Manage social interactions by engaging and creating relationships with online communities across multiple platforms
Manage and maintain digital applications and software programs
Support local store marketing activities across all locations in Canada and USA
Develop social media campaigns for national and in-store activations, community launches, and special events
Create digital content including, but not limited to photos, videos, graphics, reels, etc.
Provide administrative support as needed
Create monthly reports on social insights and upcoming trends
Analyze findings to continuously improve upon new strategies and tactics
Stay up to date with the latest photography, design, and social media trends
REQUIREMENTS
You have a degree or diploma in business, marketing, and/or communications
You have 3+ years of marketing and/or social media experience in a professional or agency setting
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook Business Suite, and Social Media Management Platforms (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, etc.)
A solution-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills
Photography and graphic design skills are an asset
