We are hiring a dedicated Social Media Manager with competency in corporate branding, web development and social media management.
We are looking for a social media professional who in addition to managing the day to day responsibilities of Social Media Manager is also looking for opportunities to grow the brand and discover new marketing techniques. The right person for this job remains up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, social media trends, and SEO algorithms.
About the Company:
Speck Eye care is the name of our company. This is a digital healthcare startup that plans to bring eye care to rural areas. We are in the development stage of business creation. Currently we are building the infrastructure of our first digital health clinic. We will use this pilot program to research best practices in digital Ophthalmology. Social Media Manager Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation and Project Management:
a. Content Creation: coordinate the creation of social media content that is on-brand in tone, voice, and topic, and is growing and conversions-oriented, across all our social media accounts including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tiktok
b. Strategy – Strategize content calendar creation and management, copywriting, and target market engagement.
2. Tool Use – Use social media tools to drive the best performance of the brand’s social media presence. Current tools include: Canva, Adobe Suite, Native social media apps
3. Data Collection and Analysis – Monitor, capture, and analyze social media metrics and data on all social media platforms for engagement, growth, and reach.
4. Data Reporting – Present thoughtful and clear reporting on a regular basis; should be able to read between the lines, show clear repercussions, action items, observations, etc. to produce an informative, insightful, and actionable report.
5. Social Media Optimization:
a. Best Practice Adaptation – Optimize content and platforms according to current best practices and social media trends
b. Adaptation – Due to speed of change on social media: learn and research new trends and best practices, or platforms if needed, about social media to apply to the brand’s social media presence and produce working, publish-ready output based on the application of these new trends/best practices.
6. Community Management – Provide input alongside Marketing management and Customer Support for how to interact with online engagement and how to grow community building.
7. Digital Marketing – Drive cross-creation, strategy, and funneling of social media to and from other online channels, such as website, blog, app, SEO, etc.
8. KPI, Performance and Goal Setting – Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs.
Qualifications:
o Marketing/Advertising/Creative experience in Social Media marketing and platforms
o Strategic thinking for developing effective marketing campaigns
o Understanding of nuances in adapting for different target audiences
o Experience as a social media manager/digital marketing manager or a similar role is beneficial but not required
Communication
o Strong Writing Skills
o Ability to collaborate with other creatives.
o Ability to provide editing direction when it comes to copy writing and copy development.
o Responsive and communicative, especially regarding project progress
o The ability to draft copy on the fly and to respond to social media activity across all platforms.
o Have the ability to learn and understand and the business and how it works to be able to communicate that clearly to our social media audience.
Design:
o Ability to design functional AND beautiful pages.
o Ability to create attractive designs
o Experience with project management tools such as Adobe Suite etc.
o Hands-on experience with skillful social media content creation
o Tech-Savvy ability to work with digital solution
Personal
o Availability to work during (10:30 PM to 7:30AM PHT and flexible hours) Manila Time – Monday to Friday
