Nautical Staffing is Looking for a Part-time Social Media Manager to support our Client in the Service industry.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals.
– Create engaging, high-quality content for various social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, and stories.
– Manage and maintain the company’s social media profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, and other relevant platforms.
– Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner to foster community engagement.
– Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
– Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and contests to drive engagement and achieve marketing objectives.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company’s social media presence remains cutting-edge.
– Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and other departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
– Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance analysis.
– Develop and implement strategies for handling social media crises or negative publicity.
– Identify and engage with brand advocates and influencers to amplify the company’s reach and reputation.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
– Demonstrated experience managing social media profiles, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor. Experience with additional platforms is a plus.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities.
– Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
– Basic graphic design and video editing skills are desirable.
– Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
– Passion for social media and staying ahead of industry trends.
– Experience working with a Start-up Business and/or Service Industry is a plus
– Amenable to work during US Business hours (PST)
