THE ROLE
We are looking for a well-rounded self-employed/freelance Social Media Manager to work remotely in the Philippines, with a proven ability to craft engaging content and drive results. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking, communication, and adaptability skills, as well as a passion for digital storytelling and a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends.
The key objectives of the role are:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and drive traffic.
Create high-quality, engaging content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Manage and maintain all social media channels, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring audience feedback.
Analyze social media metrics and performance data to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for optimization.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and incorporate them into strategy development.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive branding across all social media channels.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience behaviors to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.
Implement social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, targeting, and optimization, to meet specific objectives such as lead generation or product promotion.
Continuously evaluate and refine social media strategies based on performance insights and feedback to achieve and exceed organizational goals.
knowledge, skills & qualifications
· In-depth understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their respective best practices for content creation, engagement, and advertising.
· Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, Hootsuite Analytics) to track and analyze performance metrics.
· Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools to streamline workflow and optimize posting schedules.
· Awareness of current trends, developments, and emerging technologies in social media marketing and digital communication.
· Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content optimization.

Competencies
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
· Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
· Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media strategies that have driven engagement and achieved measurable results.
· Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, iMovie) is a plus.
· Certifications in social media marketing or digital marketing (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads Certification) are advantageous.
· Ability to work independently and remotely with a reliable internet connection and necessary equipment.
· Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages may be beneficial, depending on the target audience and market.
