Job Description

The role:
The Manage of Social Media will oversee the strategy, development, and execution of all social media marketing at , with a particular emphasis on Meta and TikTok. This will include all organic owned social channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok YouTube, and any social shopping initiatives on these platforms. The role will also lead content development for paid media campaigns and work closely with our paid media team to ensure consistent, high performing paid social assets.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with brand values and business goals. Drive upper/mid funnel performance metrics including EMV, impressions, followers, and engagement.
Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging and educational content for all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and emerging platforms. Manage internal and external content creators to ensure steady pipeline of content for all owned channels. Provide relevant content to the paid media team for creative asset development on paid ads.
Audience Engagement: Create a strong connection with our online community through active community engagement
Social Shopping: Optimize social selling on IG and TikTok Shops for key commerce moments.
Influencer: Partner with our influencer team to ensure high performing, on-brand content for owned and earned channels. Leverage earned content for use within owned channels where possible. Work closely with the ambassador program to ensure consistent community messaging and vibe.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, measure, and report on the performance of social media campaigns and strategies, using data-driven insights to continually improve results.
Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing social media team, setting clear goals and expectations for each team member.
Budget Management: Responsible for the social media budget, optimizing spending to achieve the best results.
Social Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in social media and wellness industries, incorporating them into the overall strategy.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in social media marketing with at least 2 years of experience in the skincare industry
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and social marketing trends
Proven track record of driving social KPIs through content strategy, platform management, collaboration with influencer teams, and content creation.
Strong communication and leadership skills with at least 2 yrs experience of managing people
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Strong trend spotter and comfortable taking the initiative to recommend new ideas based on new trends, competitive insights, or consumer insights
Strong experience with analytics and reporting tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
Experience in successfully building a social media program at a startup a plus
Experience in content creation (video, photography) a plus
