We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our various social media channels, ensuring the timely scheduling of posts, videos (including Shorts, Reels & Stories), and standard landscape videos. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a consistent and engaging social media presence while optimizing content for search engine optimization (SEO) through appropriate use of keywords, hashtags, descriptions, and other related strategies.
Responsibilities:
– Manage and oversee all aspects of our social media channels, including scheduling and publishing content.
– Collaborate with our copywriter to ensure timely delivery and implementation of video scripts and written content.
– Work closely with our video creator/editor to incorporate relevant video content into the social media strategy.
– Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.
– Monitor social media platforms for engagement, comments, and messages, responding promptly and appropriately.
– Implement SEO strategies to optimize content for better visibility and reach.
– Research and analyze industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to inform social media strategies.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals and campaigns.
– Stay up-to-date with social media best practices, trends, and algorithm changes to maximize effectiveness.
– Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns and make data-driven improvements.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in managing social media channels for businesses or organizations.
– Strong knowledge of various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
– Familiarity with scheduling tools and platforms to manage social media content.
– Basic understanding of video editing and content creation processes, although no video creation or editing is required.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong organizational and time management abilities to ensure consistent content scheduling.
– Proficiency in search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and keyword research.
– Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and make data-driven decisions.
– Creative thinking and an eye for engaging content that aligns with the brand’s tone and messaging.
– Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
– Willingness to grow and contribute to the long-term success of our media team.
