Our boutique real estate agency in Brisbane Australia / is seeking an experienced Social Media Marketer to join our team of locals (and VA’s) to help relaunch our business in Brisbane’s Western Suburbs.
We offer Real Estate Sales and Property Management to home owners and investors in a high demographic area.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong creative eye that is passionate about creating unique content, and is highly skilled in strategy and planning.
You will be responsible for executing and curating authentic, innovative and engaging content with our target demographic front of mind.
This role is highly creative which requires thinking outside of the box and bringing new ideas to the forefront daily.
THE ROLE
Reporting to our General Manager your role will include:
RESEARCH
We work in the Real Estate space-particularly in and around the western suburbs of Brisbane. Researching relevant news and items of interest would include local, State and National news that impacts property sales and rentals. Also including local events/news that would be of interest to our ‘audiences’.Share third-party content that will resonate with these audiences.
Keep up to date with industry trends. The real estate industry is constantly changing, so it’s important to stay on top of what’s happening.
SOCIAL NETWORK STRATEGY
As we have no Social Media presence at present you will need to devise a strategy to not only launch our brand across our desired platforms but also how we will deliver regular content on those platforms to grow our brand awareness and audiences.
With a combination of organic postings and paid ads you will drive results that are targeted, structured, affordable and replicable.
BRANDING
As we are relatively unknown in our new demographic niche with your help we’ll need to build awareness, followers and engaged audiences via engaging content and visually appealing designs that resonate with our audiences. Amplifying and messaging our brand’s voice and tone via social media channels. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our brand identity and ensure consistency across all platforms.
CREATE, OPTIMISE AND MANAGE SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES
The business currently has none of these. Your role initially will be to create our business profile on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube and then over time manage and optimise.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Using tools such as Canva/Adobe you’ll create visually appealing designs that resonate with our audiences
CREATE CONTENT
Create and post relevant and engaging daily content using tools like AI,Canva, Capcut, Inshot and Adobe that helps our audiences understand who we are, what we offer, how we can help them, our skills and expertise, and gives them a better understanding of how we can be useful to them. E.g. sharing market performance updates or just sold results, our listings, tips, how to’s, faq’s, relevant and interesting related articles etc.
SCHEDULING
Review, plan and populate our content calendar for days, weeks and months ahead.
CAMPAIGNS AND ADS
Design and implement high performance Social Media Ad campaigns via Meta, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn in line with KPIs and key metrics to increase our reach and drive engagement
BUILD AUDIENCES
Build our community connection to our targeted local audiences.
Connect with residents, homeowners and businesses in our local area using a mix of different market content updates and community news or events, deepening our connections and helping our local audience understand the value of being part of our network-even if they’re not thinking of buying or selling immediately.
In this way we can build our reputation as being an agent of choice for when they are ready to act.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT-SOCIAL LISTENING AND RESPONDING
Be the voice of our brand in online communities. Engage with our audience, facilitate discussions, and address their inquiries. Your goal will be to build strong relationships and foster a sense of community around our brand.
REPORTING AND ANALYSIS
Use analytics, reporting and improvement strategies to measure what type of Content drives more engagement and clicks.
Measure and improve ROI – Set measurable goals for a new campaign across relevant channels and create a report to track performance.
EMAIL MARKETING
Design and manage our email marketing campaigns in conjunction with our Social Media Campaigns/Scheduling.
CORE SKILLS
A minimum 2 years experience in the Social Media space.
To have a creative flair for content creation and video editing.
You have the ability to identify, investigate and resolve problems in a timely manner.
To be confident and competent in all aspects of social media marketing with proven experience.
A passion for creating relevant and engaging content
Experience using video editing tools such as Capcut, Inshot and Canva
A strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices
A love of learning and a drive to constantly uplevel your skills.
The ability to communicate clearly and pay close attention to detail
Independence, self-motivation, and the ability to manage your time
