Job Position: Social Media Manager

Role Responsibilities:

1. Scheduling Content for Clients:

– Develop and manage a content calendar for each client, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
– Schedule social media posts across various platforms using social media management tools.
– Coordinate with clients to ensure content aligns with their brand and marketing goals.

2. Writing Engaging Captions and Researching Relevant Hashtags:

– Craft compelling and on-brand captions that drive engagement and resonate with the target audience.
– Conduct research to identify and utilize trending and relevant hashtags to increase visibility and reach.
– Ensure captions and hashtags are optimized for each social media platform.

3. Engaging with Other Accounts and Responding to Comments:

– Monitor social media accounts for comments, mentions, and messages.
– Respond to comments and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.
– Interact with other accounts, including influencers and potential brand partners, to build relationships and grow the audience.

SMART Expectations:

– Schedule social media posts with captions written 2-4 weeks in advance of posting.
– Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure all content meets quality standards and aligns with client objectives.
– Fill out an end-of-day (EOD) form each day to track progress, detailing scheduled posts, written captions, and engagement activities.
– Ensure all scheduled content aligns with the client’s brand voice and marketing strategy.
– Maintain a content calendar that is always 2-4 weeks ahead, adjusting as needed based on client feedback and performance metrics.

Reports Directly To: Creative Director

Additional Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
– Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
– Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
