Job Description

The Social Media Manager will be responsible to administer our social media accounts and oversee the company’s interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on social media platforms. He/She will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve the marketing goals. The ideal candidate will be developing social media plans for the company and collaborate with the business owners, product managers, agencies and influencers to plan and create for social media distribution

RESPONSIBILITIES
Using social media marketing tools and techniques to create, develop and maintain the company’s brand
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Optimize content to increase community participation and interaction.
Design, deliver and creative and engaging social media strategies to align with business goal
Monitoring the mentions of the organization in news feeds
Will create and manage social media calendar prior posting contents
Daily management of all social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools.
Create, develop, and manage new promotional competitions and campaigns for the organization.
Responding to social media posts and creating conversations to manage and facilitate social media communities
Researching social media trends and advising management of developments pertinent to the marketing efforts of the organization.
Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
Manage and track budgets for social media activities

Analytics & Performance
Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic flaw and weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
Compile end-of-month (EOM) reports showing results
Using analytics and data to measure results of social media activities.
Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as but not limited to Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
Presenting strategies and key results to the wider business

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or Digital Marketing Specialist.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with managing, maintaining and building a brand using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media platforms
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
Good understanding of social media KPIs.
Familiarity with web design and publishing.
Has a creative mind to create content that must constantly align with customer trends and market changes that interest and engage people.
Has the skills in research and learning social media trends as well as identifying new social media tools and finding real-time online conversations.
Has strong understanding of the trends and techniques of social media as well as the company’s online presence to effectively handle social media marketing.
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Team player
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
