We have an immediate full-time position open for a Social Media/Marketing and Virtual Manager at our upscale spa.
By September 1st, we will be relocating from our two existing locations in New York City to two brand-new locations in the heart of Midtown and the exclusive Upper East Side of Manhattan. At our new front desk areas, we will add video monitors and hire Virtual Assistants (VAs) from the Philippines to greet, check-in, and check out our valued guests. We have a sophisticated booking system which makes this process easy. When not assisting our customers, the VAs will handle follow-up tasks and assist the Social Media/Marketing Manager with various responsibilities. These new hires should also have some social media skills.
We primarily use Instagram to inform and educate our customers, boasting almost 45K followers. We also target our audience using dedicated postal zip codes for advertising on the Meta platform. Knowledge in handling email blast campaigns is part of the sales program. We currently use Mailchimp and have an extensive list of almost 11,000 past and present customers. We are looking to enhance engagement through targeted email campaigns written by you.
Eventually, we aim to share more stories via TikTok and Facebook, leveraging these platforms to reach a wider audience and tell our unique brand story. We are mainly focused on our demographic areas in New York and Los Angeles.
Our ideal candidate will have fluent English skills, be able to work in a friendly, presentable, business-like manner, have a computer with video capabilities, high-speed internet, and a reliable power source, and be able to work from home. Skills in video editing for reels, copywriting, being a self-starter, and being proactive are crucial. Although we have a USA-based General Customer Service Manager and Operations Manager, you will manage this part of the business, supervise the off-site team, and direct them in their daily tasks related to social media.
The hours for this management position are approximately 7:30 AM EST to 3:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday. As previously stated, you will coordinate and be responsible for the team of three, possibly four VAs from the Philippines, who will work two shifts to cover our operating hours from 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week.
