We are looking for a Social Media Manager who is confident, proactive and has experience in the space of Social Media. As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and maximising our reach both locally and nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation: Develop engaging and on-brand content for our social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This involves creating visually appealing graphics, writing compelling captions, and ensuring consistency in tone and messaging.
2. Content Scheduling and Publishing: Utilize social media management tools to schedule and publish content across various platforms. Maintain a consistent posting schedule to keep our audience engaged and informed.
3. Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on our social media channels. Foster meaningful interactions with our audience, addressing their queries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
4. Analytics and Reporting: Regularly analyse social media metrics and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of our social media efforts. Use these insights to optimize content strategies and drive continuous improvement.
5. Local and National Reach: Develop strategies to maximise our reach within the local community and expand our presence nationwide. Collaborate with the marketing team to identify target audiences and tailor content accordingly.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives. Collaborate with other departments to gather information and create content that showcases the diverse aspects of the business.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in social media management. Showcasing your work will help.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
– Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics).
– Strong understanding of social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
– Ability to create visually appealing content using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
– Familiarity with SEO principles and techniques to optimize content for search engines.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a team player.
– Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
