Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager is responsible for posting content, tracking popular trends and advising the marketing team on best practices to grow accounts.

Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with Role)
– Responsible for scheduling content on all platforms (FB, IG, YT, TT, LinkedIn)
– Responsible for creating graphics in Canva as needed
– Responsible for growing followers on all social media accounts
– Responsible for researching trending topics and ways to attract attention
– Responsible for posting content manually (not scheduled) to amplify reach
– Responsible for providing feedback on content and how to improve
– Responsible for attending monthly content planning meetings
– Responsible for communicating with Content Editor to modify content as needed

– Get 100+ followers added per month on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
– Get 100+ shares per month across all platforms

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)
– Must live and represent our core values daily
– Must be positive
– Must be willing to go the extra mile
– Must be a team player
– Must have exceptional attention to detail
– Must have at least 2 years experience with social media management
– Must have proven background of growing social media accounts
– Must have strong experience with Canva
– Must be resourceful and will look for answer before asking questions
– Must be humble, coachable and willing to learn
– Must have the ability to multitask
– Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal)
– Must have a strong understanding of gmail and google calendar

Working hours to start are 10am-2pm CST – 20 hours per week to start
Starting pay $7/hr
Paid Time off After 60 Days of Employment (3 days)
