SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

OVERVIEW:

Our team is searching for a talented Social Media Manager (10 hours per week) with 1+ years of previous social media management experience to create and repost weekly content for 2 brands on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, & YouTube.

This Social Media Manager does not need experience on all of these platforms. Experience in some including Instagram experience is required. The rest will be taught in training.

TASKS:

• Creating graphics using existing templates & content in Canva
• Creating Pinterest graphics & scheduling pins in Tailwind app
• Schedule content in advance using Later software
• Creating captions for all scheduled posts
• Hashtag research using Click to view tool
• Resharing daily Instagram reels & posts on stories
• Creating & sharing 1-2 Instagram stories per week
• Reposting published TikToks without watermark on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Stories, Pinterest Idea Pins, and possibly X & LinkedIn (adjusting copy/hashtags to each platform)
• Sharing YouTube videos to Facebook Page, Instagram Stories & Pinterest
• Checking daily inbox for tagged content to save & reshare

Note: some of these tasks are not needed for all 2 brands.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Speak & write in fluent English
• Experience using a social media scheduling tool (Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, etc)
• Experience posting to Instagram
• At least 1 years experience as a Social Media Manager
• Experience with hashtag research (either manually or using a tool like Click to view)
• Graphic design experience needed – though Canva templates can/will be used, applicant MUST have good graphic skills and aesthetic sense (spacing, colors, scales, etc)
• Available for 10 hours per week

PROVIDED:

• Full video training of each task
• Access to social media hashtag & scheduling tools
• We will work with your schedule to set a calendar in place that works best for you.
• Most (but not all) content will be provided for you to schedule/ create though some content you will need to develop with your own creativity (should be fun)!

HOURS: 10 hours/week

RATE: $4.00/ hour ($160/month)
