This is an amazing opportunity for an energetic, results-driven Social Media manager to help Baie Botanique stand out from the crowd. We’re looking for someone who’s naturally curious, keen to test the latest platform innovations and has an instinct for great content and marketing activities, with integrity and respect for the brand.
Please note this is a long-term position for a very astute and detailed person who is committed to their work and wants to grow with the company.
Roles & Responsibilities
– Managing our social media content and channel strategy across our key channels, including, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Pinterest and Tik Tok
– Owning our social media calendar ensuring stakeholders are aware and engaged
– Analysing our social media accounts to identify trends, insights and tactics that optimise social channels
– Curating images, text, and videos to provide value to our followers
– Staying current with the latest social media updates and trends
– Repurposing content across social platforms
– Community Management support across multiple Social platforms to foster and engage a thriving community
– Measurement of social performance against set KPIs
– Support a variety of brand marketing activations, including executing and communicating on social channels relating to press, influencer, awards, eventing, partnerships and beauty boxes
– Outreach to source brand-appropriate partnerships and influencers
– Create and maintain a bank of brand assets for retailer usage
Other marketing-related activities as required and as below
– Responsible for updating the marketing plan and calendar based on the collaborative outcome of marketing meetings with the team
– To collaborate creatively around promotional activity to raise awareness of and generate demand for our products
Key Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Social Media Manager or Marketing role
• Highly creative, innovative and resourceful
• Self-motivated, positive attitude with accountability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to evaluate success, also to be honest and able to learn from failure
• Creative copy-writing skills and graphics creation
• Excellent content creation skills including short and long-form video content
• Reporting & data analysis skills, strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
• Passion for the skincare industry and willingness to understand all elements of the business across its various departments
