Job Description

Hi,

We are a Health and Wellness Membership Site. We serve a community looking to avoid surgery, get stronger, and get out of pain in their bodies.

We’re looking for a VA to assist us in:

– Exceptional video editing skills -edit longer videos to shorter creating content for social media

– Photoshop – enhancing photos using photoshop

– Community Management – engage with our Members on a every other day basis fostering community building; Providing Live Chat Support on our membership site,

– Create content that is relevant to our audience aligned with our branding

– Co-write email copy

– Good with analytics and analyzing campaign metrics

– Zapier – to link together software systems for efficiency

– Organizing our documents and images, you will be required to read through our Google Drive Folders and pull out relevant writing copy to repurpose for Social Media posts as well as use in our email campaigns,

– Bonus, any knowledge on Facebook and / or Instagram ads

We are not just looking for a Virtual Assistant to fill a job. This position is a stepping stone to joining a cutting edge Membership Site.

As you review the description, we welcome any questions you may have about the position on our team. The position will start at 10 hours per week and will gradually increase to 20 hours per week for a 3 month / 90 day period as we train you. All possibilities for raises will be based upon work performance.

This posting is for an audition. We will be selecting 3-4 candidates to hire for a paid test project. After seeing your work, we’ll choose who to bring on the team.

Strong English grammar and being exceptionally organized is the first requirement.

Second is having an excellent eye for detail and design.

A desire to build and grow something with our company and understanding our culture is the third requirement.

Software skills needed to be successful:

These are the software systems we use. Please let us know in your application your level of comfort with the following software.

Adobe Premiere or Pro

Descript video editing

Additional video editing tools like Davinci Pro and Filmora

Searchie – community management (you do not need to know this yet, we will train you on Searchie)

Canva – require high level competency

Notion – new to our company, but we want to use this as the main organizing software, and will be co-learning with our team. However, if you already know Notion and are great at using Notion, you will stand out among the other applicants

Zoom – to deliver our lessons (need to be familiar with Zoom)

Google Drive – to organize our photos and documents (require high competency)

Zapier – to link together software systems for efficiency

Email Management – Responding to emails and concern

Dropbox – have used it before

Acuity – client schedule

Google calendar – schedule

Qualities needed to be successful:

Integrity- you are a good fit if you can be honest with your fellow team members. Open communication and honesty are our top priority to me and my team. If you aren’t able to hit a deadline or if you make a mistake, please be upfront about it. We are all human, after all.

Commitment – We’ve had freelancers for several business projects over the last 18 years. We are looking for someone who is looking for a long term relationship with the expectations that this will become full time. If you are just looking for a few months of work, this is not for you.

Skills- can be practiced and perfected over time. We are looking for integrity and honesty in time, commitment to our mission and a desire to learn with us.

Desire to Learn- We are a small team, but growing fast. We want people who are open to learning new skills and taking on new projects.
