Avalorians is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Multi-Platform Community and Social Media Manager
to lead our marketing efforts across Discord, Twitch, Twitter, and TikTok. The ideal candidate, based in the
Philippines, will be responsible for building and nurturing our gaming community, increasing game
visibility, and driving engagement through strategic content creation and influencer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Discord Management:
• Set up and manage the Avalorians Discord server, including organizing channels, roles, and
permissions.
• Implement and maintain bots for moderation, announcements, and engagement.
• Schedule weekly Q&A sessions, community events, and developer streams.
• Post regular updates, behind-the-scenes content, and interactive polls to engage the community.
• Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to refine strategies.
Twitch Management:
• Create and work with designers for the official Avalorians Twitch channel with cohesive branding.
• Establish and maintain a consistent streaming schedule, including developer playthroughs and
gameplay showcases.
• Identify and collaborate with Twitch influencers and streamers to promote Avalorians.
• Organize and stream live tournaments and special events with commentary and community
interaction.
• Track viewership, engagement, and feedback to improve future streams and events.
Twitter Management:
• Develop and execute a content calendar for regular tweets, including updates, gameplay tips, and
community highlights.
• Post engaging media such as GIFs, short clips, and infographics.
• Run interactive content like polls, questions, and challenges to foster community engagement.
• Collaborate with gaming influencers on Twitter for increased reach and impact.
• Utilize Twitter Ads to promote key tweets and monitor analytics for ongoing optimization.
TikTok Management:
• Create a branded TikTok profile and develop a content calendar for regular posts.
• Post engaging gameplay highlights, tutorials, behind-the-scenes content, and participate in trending
challenges.
• Collaborate with TikTok influencers to create sponsored content and run branded challenges.
• Host contests and giveaways to increase follower engagement and community participation.
• Monitor video views, engagement rates, and community feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing social media and community engagement for a gaming or tech
brand.
• Deep understanding of Discord, Twitch, Twitter, and TikTok platforms and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Filipino is a plus.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform strategies.
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
• Experience with social media analytics tools and software (e.g., Hootsuite, TweetDeck, TikTok
Analytics).
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
• Knowledge of gaming communities and culture, especially in the Philippines.
• Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle community issues diplomatically.
