Job Summary:
As a Post Scheduler, you will play a vital role in our social media management team by ensuring the timely and consistent posting of content across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring posts to maximize engagement, reach, and brand awareness. This role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Scheduling: Create and maintain a content calendar for all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
Content Planning: Collaborate with the content creation team to ensure a steady flow of high-quality content for social media posting.
Scheduling Tools: Utilize social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) to plan and schedule posts in advance.
Optimal Timing: Analyze audience insights and trends to determine the best times to schedule posts for maximum reach and engagement.
Monitoring and Engagement: Keep track of social media activity, respond to comments, messages, and mentions, and escalate customer inquiries as needed.
Analytics and Reporting: Regularly assess the performance of social media posts, gather data on key metrics (likes, shares, comments, click-through rates), and provide reports to management for insights and improvements.
Content Optimization: Work closely with the creative team to ensure that posts are visually appealing and optimized for each social media platform.
Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Ensure all scheduled content aligns with the company’s brand voice, style, and guidelines.
Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, changes in algorithms, and new features on social media platforms to adjust scheduling strategies accordingly.
Crisis Management: Be prepared to respond promptly to any social media crises or negative comments in a professional and strategic manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a social media coordinator or scheduler.
Familiarity with various social media platforms and their best practices.
Proficiency in social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
