Job Description

Hey everyone,

My name is Henri, founder of Digital H.
After several iterations and failures, our startup is finally taking off.
Digital H is a social media management agency that caters to hotels and other travel brands.

At this time, we’re looking for a part-time social media manager.
Keep in mind, this will quickly grow to full time. (We’re looking for 2/3 full time social media managers by the end of the summer).

He or she will be responsible for the complete campaign of 2 brands in part time, 4 brands when working full time.

The brands you will be responsible for are:
1. Digital H, our own brand. A social media management agency that looks to cater hotels and travel brands.
2. An event Hall located in Bruges, Belgium. Name will only be disclosed to the person that gets hired.

For these brands, you’ll have to create, post and schedule ahead of time on different channels and report to us.
Think of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Email to name a few.
We understand you can’t be an expert on all platforms but the more knowledge you have on these, the better.

We expect you to have impeccable English writing and speaking.

We are active in Europe (for now), Brussels time zone. To make communications go smoother, as part-time, you will be expected to work from 2PM until 6PM. (This results in 8AM to 12AM in Europe).

We definitely won’t ask you to do any client communication.

What you can expect from us:

– Regular 1on1 videocalls to get you started.
– We aim to grow fast, that means opportunities for you!
– You can expect going full time in 3 months and a raise from $4 to $5 an hour after six months. So, after 6 months, you can expect to be paid $800.
– If you’d like to specialize after that, we will offer you the needed training to get you where you’d like to be.
– You can expect a founder that is invested in your future.
– A freelance based contract.

This advert will only be active for one month!
What does our hiring process look like?

1. If you’re interested, you will send us a message with your portfolio/ CV if you have any.

2. Everyone’s time is precious, so make sure to make step one interesting. We will be selective in who we want to have a call with. If your profile is interesting to us, we will have a video call where you get to know me; the founder, how we work, our goals and we’ll answer all the questions you’d have. Of course, we’re curious to know about you too! We’ll ask you a few questions and we’ll assess you with a final task!

A task? – Yes!

– You will get one question – to evaluate your strategic thinking. No wrong answers on this one as there are multiple ways to achieve one specific goal!

– You will also get 2 microtasks; they should not take you more than 3 hours to complete, and we will PayPal you 15$ for your result (even if we don’t hire you in the end).

You will have 24 hours to send in the deliverables.

3. At the end of the month, your solicitations will be assessed based on all previous steps. Whether you’re hired or not, we will answer your solicitations. No one likes to be left in the cold.
