Adventure People is seeking a creative and passionate part-time Social Media Manager and Content Creator who loves interacting with people, to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, loves travel, and also has excellent writing and creative skills. You will be responsible for curating and producing engaging content for our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok platforms, as well as managing our content calendar to ensure consistent and high-quality posts.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation (3-4 posts per day + daily stories):
? Develop creative and compelling content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok that showcases our custom tours,
curated experiences, affiliate offers, and the beauty of travel destinations and adventure activities.
? Curate high-quality reels and posts that our target audience will enjoy.
? Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute innovative content ideas and campaigns that drive
engagement and growth.
2. Social Media Management:
? Manage and oversee Adventure People’s Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts, including daily monitoring,
engagement, and moderation.
? Implement social media best practices to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness.
? Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates to optimize our social media
presence.
3. Content Calendar Management:
? Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar outlining upcoming posts, promotions, and campaigns.
? Coordinate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure alignment between social media
content and company initiatives.
? Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to track the effectiveness of content and campaigns, and
make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
• Strong (English) writing and communication skills.
• Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in the travel or lifestyle industry.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Proficiency in videography, graphic design, and copywriting.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual aesthetics.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to drive strategy.
• Enthusiastic about travel and adventure, with a genuine desire to inspire and connect with our community of travelers.
