Job Description

Are you a Social Media Manager looking for a new and exciting project? We are looking for a creative and strategic social media manager and visual content creator and to help us manage our and our client’s social media accounts. This is a unique position because we are looking for someone to become part of an up-and-coming company. You will manage the day-to-day business operations, as well as implement strategic direction and prioritize activities for the business.

This is a part-time freelance position (approximately 10-20 hours per week), and maternity cover and has the potential to be a long-term work-from-home opportunity for the perfect fit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Create and manage content for EverMint Media as well as our clients across IG, FB, Twitter, Linkedin, and other social media channels;
– Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification;
– Generate new ideas for social media posts and execute against them from start to finish, including video and photo editing;
– Write engaging social media content that reflects the customers brand’s voice – skill with the distinction of social media writing, including the use of hashtags, emojis, and acronyms;
– Communicate with clients on all elements of the campaign, including planning, performance, and project status;
– Assist with lead generation campaign;
– Assist in hiring other social media managers as the team expands.

REQUIREMENTS:
– Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or relevant experience;
– A solid understanding of social media marketing for business and trends;
– Confident in the ability to quickly learn and implement new technology platforms and programs;
– Exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to edit and proofread your own work.
