We are seeking a highly skilled and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator/Editor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence across various platforms, including YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and Instagram. Additionally, you will create and edit high-quality videos and images ensuring visually appealing thumbnails that drive engagement.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement social media strategies that align with our business goals and drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness across all platforms.
– Create and edit high-quality videos for YouTube, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels, etc. utilizing various editing techniques such as color grading, audio improvements, animations, text transcriptions with text on screen, engaging transitions, zooms, and other trending editing techniques.
– Book guests for podcasts and coordinate scheduling and logistics.
– Create blog posts for podcast episodes and email for guest.
– Design visually appealing and engaging thumbnails for pictures and videos and optimize them for each platform.
– Collaborate with the team to develop video ideas, concepts, and engaging social media content.
– Manage the entire video editing process, including selecting footage, editing raw footage, and exporting final videos.
– Monitor and manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with the audience.
– Analyze performance metrics and use insights to optimize social media campaigns and improve content strategy.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, social media trends, best practices, and algorithm updates.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and content, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
– Follow established workflows and standard operating procedures to operate efficiently within the team while bringing innovative and insightful ideas for improvement.

Requirements:
– Proven work experience as a video editor, with a portfolio of previous work showcasing high-quality videos.
– Proven experience in Marketing.
– Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Descript, Filmora, and/or Canva.
– Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including color grading, audio improvements, animations, text transcriptions with text on screen, engaging transitions, zooms, and other trending editing techniques.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Familiarity with YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook,, and Instagram, and a deep understanding of what makes content engaging on these platforms.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
– Attention to detail, with a strong sense of visual design and aesthetics.
– Knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to improve performance.
– A passion for creating engaging content and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

– The social media manager position will start at $800 per month.

Hours Required:
– This is a full-time position, typically requiring 40 hours per week. Some work outside of regular business hours may be required to monitor and respond to social media activity and conduct team meetings with coworkers in the US.
