RS Gonzales is hunting for a Full-Time Social Media Manager with a punch of energy and a thirst for growth!

We are an all-in-one sales and marketing solution specifically designed for small service-based businesses in the Washington, DC region.

We are looking for an experienced social media manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The ideal candidate would have past experience working for a digital marketing agency or startup, and be able to toggle successfully between social media strategy, client communication and campaign management.

**ROLE**
As our Social Media Manager, you’ll create powerful narratives and compelling content, bring social media profiles to life for our business and our clients and make brands resonate with their target audience.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
–Create social media strategies for local businesses, identifying the best platforms, graphics, messaging and ad budget to help them reach their target audience.

–Manage up to 10 social media clients, juggling between accounts and communicating regularly with clients via email and videoconference meetings to request information, solicit feedback on deliverables, learn more about the business, and share analytics

–Create content, manage a content calendar and optimize profiles for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google Business Profiles, and engage with followers

–Build funnels that identify leads from social media and help nurture them to take the next step in the customer journey (e.g. subscribe, book an appointment, buy)

–Work closely with our web designer, content writer, graphic designer and sales team to create a coherent growth strategy for each client, and then coordinate on the implementation of that strategy

–Work with the agency owner to build scalable systems and processes for our social media management, which will help us effectively manage more clients as we grow

**SKILLS AND BACKGROUND**
–At least five years’ experience working for a digital marketing agency, or managing multiple social media accounts, with a proven track record of driving growth for clients
–A commanding grasp on social media algorithms, organic social media and paid ads, and how all these social media tactics should be combined to grow a brand
–A strategic mindset and the expertise to bring to the job your own processes and systems for designing social media strategies and campaigns
–Strong graphic design and copywriting skills, and the ability to create engaging content that marries these two disciplines
–Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and the confidence to engage with Americans as a trusted advisor
–Video editing skills (basic skills desired, more advanced skills a plus)
