Social Media Manager and Team Lead

A small but growing creative company in a very fun, unique niche is looking for a Social Media Manager and Team Lead. This person will lead and oversee a team of 6 – 8 social media creatives, to cultivate a truly amazing social media presence and team.

To be great at this job, you must:
-Have at least 5 full years of hands on, direct social media management experience
-Understand social media content creation and how it is optimized
-Be familiar (if not an expert) in Canva
-Be familiar (if not an expert) with effective SEO practices
-Understand the logistics and metrics that go into cultivating a successful professional social media profile
-Understand how to create a thriving social media community and culture, including managing comments, likes, posts, replies, followers, etc.
-Be a specialist in Facebook/Metta
-Possess strong organizational and time management skills

But most importantly, you must be a true leader:
-Eager and able to manage key milestones, metrics and deliverables
-Excited about and great at maintaining follow through and accountability with a small team of highly motivated and loyal creatives located all over the world
-Able to combine positive reinforcement with holding team members to account when they are not on point
-Be able to communicate fluently in English, in a way that transmits as a confident, authoritative and compassionate leader
-Enjoy being part of a team that is up to great things

You’ll be interfacing with. the CEO directly, to be his eyes and ears and to drive the team.

There may be times where you will need to roll up your sleeves and get into the trenches with the team if that’s what is called for. But as a rule you will be leading and overseeing, giving guidance and direction, and being a driver of the team.

You of course must be pleasant and easy to speak with. The CEO is a great guy, very humble and committed to supporting his team.

While hours may vary, the position looks to be a full time position of 40 hours per week, paying $8.00 per hour, or $1,280.00 per month. There is definitely upside growth potential here and the opportunity for a life changing, long term position.

This will involve working and being available often times during United States Eastern hours. It will vary and there is flexibility in the times,, but you must be prepared to work with Western time.
