Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to manage our social media presence across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent writing skills, and the ability to create and edit compelling content. This role is crucial in enhancing our brand awareness, driving engagement, and providing exceptional customer service through direct messages.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Editing:
Develop, curate, and manage high-quality content for all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
Edit and enhance images, videos, and other multimedia content to ensure a professional and consistent look and feel.
Craft engaging and on-brand captions, posts, and stories that align with our company’s voice and mission.
Create a content calendar to plan and schedule posts in advance, ensuring a consistent posting frequency.
Community Management:
Monitor, respond to, and engage with our audience across all social media platforms.
Address customer inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner, fostering a positive community experience.
Utilize social listening tools to stay informed about trending topics and relevant conversations.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our marketing and business objectives.
Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media campaigns with broader marketing efforts.
Analyze and report on key performance metrics, using insights to optimize content and strategies.
Customer Engagement and Support:
Manage direct messages (DMs) and comments, providing accurate and prompt responses to customer questions and concerns.
Identify and escalate any issues or crises to the appropriate internal teams.
Develop FAQs and standard response templates to ensure consistency and efficiency in communications.
Collaboration and Innovation:
Work closely with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and other team members to produce high-quality content.
Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate these into our social media strategies.
Experiment with new features and formats on social platforms to continually improve engagement and reach.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Strong portfolio of social media content and campaigns.
Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms, management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SocialBakers).
Basic graphic design and video editing skills; proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field is preferred.
