Looking for a social media manager that is skilled in managing and growing a “B2B”, also known as a “Business to business” social media page. Focusing on growing Instagram first.
We are a women’s clothing manufacturing company, and we sell our clothing wholesale to small businesses that wish to resell our products at a higher retail price. Our goal is to get new clients who are mainly clothing stores and clothing boutiques that are small-medium sized business owners. Our social media page will showcase our wholesale products, brand, and the benefits of purchasing wholesale from our company.
The role also entails finding these small clothing businesses and reaching out to them through social media. We will provide a large list of small business Instagram profiles that we have already sourced and provide you with scripts to find and reach out to them to invite them to shop wholesale with us.
We will also provide you with plenty of content in the form of lifestyle images, product images, and videos for you to edit or remix into creatives that fit the social media page and the message we want to get across.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record (WITH SUPPORTING NUMBERS) of growing a social media page from 0 followers, managing daily posts to keep the page active, knowledgeable in navigating the Instagram platform to message potential clients, and fluent in English in order to properly reach out and reply to clients.
Growth opportunities to manage the social media for our main brands on Instagram, TikTok etc if work for this new page is satisfactory from part time to full time with more responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for a new Instagram page focused on growing a B2B audience in the women’s apparel industry.
• Create and curate engaging and informative creatives that showcase the company’s wholesale products, brand, and benefits. Initial content will be provided.
• Manage daily social media posts and stories. Engage with any user interactions to maintain a high level of engagement with potential clients if any.
• Find and cold direct message potential clients through Instagram. We will provide a client list and give you a strategy to find more new clients through competitor research.
• Research competitor pages. Track and measure the actions taken and effectiveness of social media campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Represent the company in a professional and positive manner on social media.
Requirements:
• Proven track record of growing a social media page
• Experience in managing social media accounts for B2B businesses
• Knowledge of the women’s fashion industry. (A big plus if you have experience with B2B or wholesale ecommerce related fields)
• Strong understanding of the Instagram algorithm and best practices to get content you post (particularly reels) to reach as many targeted people as possible
• Ability to create and edit engaging social media content
• Ability to work independently and report actions and result comprehensively
• Fluency in English
