Position Overview:
As a Social Media Manager at Explore Jacksonville, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our social media strategy. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving engagement, building brand awareness, and fostering a vibrant online community.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to achieve marketing and business goals.
– Research interesting topics and ideas that will resonate with our audience
– Create the social content calendar for Explore Jacksonville with a monthly theme and weekly sub-themes
– Create, source, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
– Schedule posts ahead of time, and ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
– Monitor social media trends, audience preferences, and industry developments to inform content strategies.
– Engage with the audience by responding to comments and messages and fostering meaningful conversations.
– Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and collaborations to drive user engagement and growth.
– Analyze and report on social media metrics and KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve performance goals.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends, tools, and platforms, and recommend innovative approaches.
– Collaborate with manager and teammates to align social media efforts with overall business objectives.
– Manage and oversee social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and targeting strategies.
– Write an informative and engaging caption for every post using brand voice. Must know how to use AI tools.
– Establish relationships with social media micro-influencers and freelancers to develop a strong network.
– Oversee and provide suggestions for social accounts’ design
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
– In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
– Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
– Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
– Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual content.
– Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Familiarity with AI and social management tools.
– Basic photo editing and video editing skills.
– Can create graphic posts using tools such as Canva or similar tools.
– Can work from 9 am to 6 pm EST.
