Social Media Manager (Crypto/DeFi)

We run a growing investing training program and group called Yieldschool that caters to western investors who are getting into decentralized finance for the first time.

We’re looking for a smart and talented social media manager that will help us turn our internal content into high quality social media posts that help elevate our brand, increase our social media presence, highlight our value proposition and build more trust with our audience.

You’ll be working with our video editor and content lead to brainstorm ideas and create content. You’ll be asked to handle several tasks including but not limited to: scheduling our posts, creating the graphics, writing captions, turning discussions in the group chat into short-form video content, making posts about relevant news, analyzing our social media metrics, and making recommendations for improvements to make sure we’re in the right direction.

The platforms will be: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn (soon)

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
– Someone who has at least 1 year experience as a social media manager
– Is knowledgeable about cryptocurrency, blockchain, web3, and particularly DeFi (decentralized finance)
– Knowledgeable about marketing and marketing psychology
– Proficient in graphic design and using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Creative, collaborative, with a keen eye to detail, ensures all output is high quality
– Efficient in doing tasks, can work remotely
– Proficient in English
– Okay with receiving salary in crypto
