Social Media Manager for Content Creation (Video Editing)

We are looking for a talented and creative Social Media Manager with expertise in video editing to join our team. Your role will be to take raw videos and edit them into short and long from content with captions etc ready to upload to social media channels.

If your application is successful you will be creating and curating content for 3 different businesses, which are all managed independently, but have the same owner. These 3 projects are:

1. Life Coaching
2. Piano Music Tutoring
3. Professional Music Channel

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to develop engaging content ideas for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Edit raw video footage, adding relevant captions, effects, and transitions to create compelling videos.
• Curate and organize content to ensure consistency and high-quality output.
• Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices to optimize content performance.

Requirements:

• Strong video editing skills
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and their respective content formats.
• Creativity and an eye for detail to deliver visually appealing and engaging content.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Track working Hours.

The hours required will start out at 12 hrs per week, then steadily grow to 2 – 3 days work per week in 2 months time.

The rate of pay will increase accordingly based on approx $7.00USD per hour.

After a period of 2 months we will review the hourly rate of pay, and increase this if we feel your contribution is worth more than this.

By the end of 2023 this will most likely be full time position.
