Social Media Manager

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time Self Employed

Legend Shape:
Oversee the company’s interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on our social media platforms. Their duties will include analysing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build our community online.

You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Social Media Manager responsibilities include:

1.) Content Creation:
Instagram
IG Stories
Facebook
FB Stories
Linkedin
Youtube
Youtube Shorts
Tik Tok
Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, YouTube Thumbnails, Promotions, and offers, etc)
Keeping up with trends & what is going viral ? how we can leverage this into our brands

2.) Marketing Plan in place for all social media content & stories
Daily, Weekly & Monthly (ahead of time projections & design)
Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals
Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI
Have copywriting designed ahead of time in alignment with future marketing plans to stay organised
Email marketing campaigns
Daily, Weekly & Monthly (ahead of time projections & design)

3.) Editing
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Ability to copyright around our brand subject fields & understand our message when designing content
Create eye catching content with excellent editing skills that propel our companies forward
Understand how to elevate our brand through great editing skills through content pieces (image & video)
Be able to take 100’s of raw pieces of footage we have and turn into excellent edited eye catching material for your marketing plans
Featured in stories & other platforms accordingly

4.) Analysis
Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

5.) Communication
Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Copywriting skills that can be used for email marketing campaigns

Requirements and skills
Good to have Social Media Manager skills:
– Proven work experience as a Social media manager
– Hands on experience in content management
– Excellent copywriting skills
– Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
– Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
– Knowledge of online marketing channels
– Familiarity with web design
– Excellent communication skills
– Analytical and multitasking skills
– BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field

MISSION & KPI’S:
Generate Sales Calls Onto The Sales Calendar
– Leads they can create through posts/content on pages and pass onto the setters.
– Generate leads within the groups/new member requests and pass onto the setters for triage call.
– % growth in group members and activity.
– 5 leads per group and per page per week; 10%growth in group per month over 3 months.
