Job Description

I am looking for a part-time rockstar social media manager to join our team. We do real estate apartment investing and run a weekly podcast that posts in audio & video.

1. The social media manager is responsible for creating and posting daily content. Our content is a mixture of repurposing podcast video recordings and new content using graphic design.
2. Post on Facebook reels/stories, Instagram, and possibly move into LinkedIn.
3. Our content is heavily video focused. You’ll need knowledge on how to edit short videos for reels/stories, create attractive captions, and do basic overlays (logo, etc). Knowledge on correct aspect ratios and resolutions for each social media site is a must.
4. Experience on selecting the correct hashtags.
5. Able to edit graphics using Canva or the Adobe Suite.
6. Be able to show a portfolio of your previous work that includes video for reels and stories.
7. Have knowledge on how to create a social media strategy to increase followers and drive them to our lead magnet.
8. Able to work with, and clearly article your needs to, another VA who performs the audio and video editing for the podcast. They won’t fully edit the particular content for your social media posts but they can pull out short video clips and assist you with formatting the video files to make the conversion to reels/stories easier on your end. (Combining/Stacking the two video feeds on the podcast into one video clip, etc)

> Hours are 20 hours a week at $160USD/week, paid weekly. Productivity tracking software will be used.

> I am open to making this full-time if you have video/audio edit skills for the podcast OR want to pick up more general VA tasks to make it full-time.

> Work Hours: I don’t expect you to work late through the night to match our work hours but I would like to arrange a 3-4 hour overlapping time window at least twice a week in which we are both working at the same time. I’m in the US Mountain time zone which is 15 hours behind the Philippines. Ideally that overlapping window would be around 5am-9am Philippines time.?
