Job Description:

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing our winery’s social media accounts. You will create engaging content that showcases our vineyard activities, wine production processes, events, and more. Your role will be crucial in building and maintaining our online presence and fostering a strong community of wine enthusiasts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content including photos, videos, graphics, and written posts.
• Edit photos and videos to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of our content.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers and customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the vineyard and winery team to stay updated on activities and events for content creation.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote special events, product launches, and promotions.
• Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, using insights to optimize content and strategy.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools to ensure our presence remains innovative and relevant.
• Handle crisis communication and manage negative feedback professionally and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Proficiency in content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
• Experience in the wine industry is a plus, but not required.
