Job Description

We are searching for a passionate and adaptable social media manager and content creator to lead our social media content creation for all our cannabis industry brands. You will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy across various platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. The ideal candidate is a creative and data-driven professional who is passionate about social media trends and understands how to leverage them for business success.

Passion for the cannabis industry and being a creative thinker is necessary. You will be responsible for all social media efforts and assist in various marketing projects like sending samples, recording data, completing slideshows, and uploading products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Posting: You will be responsible for scheduling, posting, caption creation, DM monitoring and engagement, coordinating with customers on collab content, and sharing other content. You don’t need to be a designer, but the ideal person can create light content and do touchups to photos to be posted.
YouTube: You will create YouTube titles and descriptions for all videos posted on YouTube, using the content calendar to ensure this is done before the scheduled post date.
Content creation: create engaging and relevant content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, that resonates with our audience and showcases our expertise in creative staffing.
Analytics and reporting: monitor and analyze social media performance using data and analytics tools. Provide regular reports and insights to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven improvements.
Influencer Management: Collect information from various influencers and record into tracking sheets. Send out samples to approved influencers, find and reach out to different accounts to work with.
Stay updated: keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to improve Vicarious’ social media presence continually.
Internal Projects: Assist with various marketing projects and tasks

REQUIREMENTS
MUST BE 21+
Full-Time Remote
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking and the ability to create engaging content.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Experience in Adobe Suite products and Canva
Strong understanding of Microsoft Suite products
