Job Description

Our team is looking for a creative Social Media Manager / Marketing Coordinator to join us on a part-time basis (less than 30 hours per week). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company’s social media profiles and executing the digital marketing strategy to engage our audience, increase brand awareness, and drive customer engagement. This role is perfect for someone passionate about digital marketing, with a knack for storytelling and a pulse on the latest social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management: Develop and implement a robust social media strategy. This includes creating a content calendar, scheduling posts, generating engaging content, and interacting with followers to build our community online.

Content Creation: Craft high-quality, compelling content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) tailored to different audiences and objectives. This may include writing, graphic design, and basic video editing.

Marketing Collateral: Design and produce marketing materials, such as presentations and brochures, to support our marketing and sales teams. Ensure all collateral aligns with our brand identity and messaging.

Email Marketing: Plan and execute email marketing campaigns targeting existing customers. This involves segmenting the customer base, designing email layouts, crafting compelling copy, and analyzing campaign performance to optimize future efforts.

Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media activities and email marketing campaigns. Use insights to inform and adjust strategies as needed.

Engagement & Community Building: Foster a positive community environment across all platforms. Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Encourage interactive and engaging discussions.

Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies. Regularly research competitors and industry leaders to find new ways to engage our audience.

Qualifications

-Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing, with a portfolio of past work.
-Strong content creation skills, including writing, basic graphic design, and video editing.
-Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, ConvertKit) and social media management tools
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt tone and style to match our brand’s voice.
-Creative thinker with strong analytical abilities to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
-Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
