I’m a cosmetic dermatologist in Southern California who specializes in injectable and laser procedures.
With social media, we have been making some progress but would love to go to the next level and develop a huge following.
My social media posts are FUN. This is probably the most unique and unexpected medical social media account you will ever see. We like to post creative and wild things and take advantage of trends on Tik Tok and elsewhere.
This is a full-time opportunity.
I like to work with people long term! Hopefully we are a great team and that will be possible.
The role will evolve over time and you may help with other things as well, but the initial primary focus will be social media.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Start a new IG account to highlight a procedure I invented
Start a new Tik Tok account to repurpose procedure videos from IG
Engage and build community on existing Tik Tok– ie likes and comments.
ALSO:
We have someone running the main account in-house but we would LOVE help with that….
– Stay up to date on social media trends, especially those related to cosmetic dermatology. For an understanding of the range of procedures we offer, please see and our IG page @annaguanchemd as well as @bellaskininstitute — @bellaskininstitute was our online procedure portfolio and was hacked a few months ago. We are starting that from the beginning again. We just acquired the handle again but the content was deleted… we need help building that up as well. We feature our Physician associates, myself, our estheticians, products that we love and the practice in general on that page. My page has all of that too but more of my personal, inspirational and fun stuff. We aim to educate, inspire, and entertain! The main page to work on is @annaguanchemd
– Suggest creative content ideas weekly to ride the wave of trends
– Identify different ways to present, edit and caption posts for maximum engagement
– Prepare content that is sent to you for posting. Pic/vid editing with simple tools that anyone can use
– Prepare text for the content
– Choose music for the content
– Post the content daily
– Monitor inboxes and respond to messages (we will discuss how to do this without giving medical advice…)
– Engage with others on their accounts

– Interest in the beauty and cosmetic industry is helpful! Experience in the cosmetic dermatology or medi-spa or plastic surgery arena a big plus (but not mandatory)
