THE GIG
We are a rapidly scaling digital agency with our HQ in Toronto, Canada, and we’re 100% digital. We’re seeking a brilliant multi-disciplinary Digital Project Manager with Social Media Management experience to continue helping us manage digital projects, and content marketing and work with our 100% work from home (WFH) team of creative industry rogues, social media lovers, and #fyp admirers. We’re creating the stuff for brands that the Internet wants to see. Whether it’s online ads, increased watch time, or e-course lead-magnets to grow businesses. ROLE
We’re looking for a passionate and empathetic Social Media Manager that prides themselves in the organization, with attention to detail, and kindness. You understand people and know what they’re thinking before they act. You are the Marie Kondo of digital project management. You’re the type of person that has an itch to organize, prioritize and make our digital presence a better place to work online. You’ll make it your responsibility to confidently maintain a healthy online culture of working relationships within our organization. You’re a kind & caring people-person who enjoys helping others. You are incredibly detail-focused, coordinating and managing projects excites you and you are able to inspire team members who all WFH, to reach their potential.

This role requires you to be a self-managed working professional, with confidence and kindness. In this role, you will be directly responsible for maintaining a kind company culture at our startup. You’ll add value to our internal team operations and to online businesses across Canada and the USA. Success in this role is measured by your project management, confidence, kindness and culture organization. You need to be able to handle managing people indirectly and continuously improving our systems and processes.

YOUR ROLE
Manage small-scale projects in one or more disciplines (i) Paid Ads, (ii) Social Media Management & (iii) Website Design (iv) e-course creation

Build project delivery plans and timelines for all digital projects on

Coordinate day-to-day project tasks on and Google Workspace with our Design, Web Development and Marketing teams

Manage timelines and deliverables to get done on time

Manage quality deliveries of our client marketing campaigns

Proactively look to solve problems and continuously improve our processes

Provide digital project status reporting directly to the CEO, each week

Support our online team in understanding what the client wants.

Assist in creating client briefs by working with the CEO or Sales Team.

Prepare and conduct weekly virtual standup meetings by using pre-recorded Loom Videos and presenting a visual backlog of weekly tasks, deliverables, deadlines and bottlenecks

Prepare for client meeting agendas and/or virtual presentations on Google Meet

Apply “Keizen” continuous improvement to our guidelines, and proactively create standard operating procedures (SOPs) as necessary to improve onboarding, team workflow and productivity in our 100% diverse WFH (work from home) virtual environment.

High level of empathy – it’s important for our Project Manager to be good people to peers and customers

Excellent communication and writing skills in English

REQUIREMENTS
Highly Self-managed to work in a 100% online WFH team environment

High level of empathy and understanding of people and user experiences

Minimum 2+ years of relevant project management experience in a similar role

Previous experience in online digital project management, consulting or similar

Punctilious with incredible time management skills

Experience scoping web design, content marketing, paid media or similar projects and working with C-Levels is a nice to have.

Experience managing & delivering website design, web development or content marketing projects within a fixed budget and schedule

Excellent writing competency and communication skills

A constant desire to learn more about the latest marketing trends

Strong problem-solving ability and organization skills

Self-motivated individuals with a desire to do their best every day

Comfortable being on video and using online video meetings on Google Meet or similar

Experience or certifications in Scrum or Agile methodologies is a nice to have
