About the Social Media Manager Position
Are you a social media superstar?
We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for managing posts, and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our company goals. As a social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
Engagement and Interaction: Actively engage with community members through various channels such as forums, social media platforms, and community events. This involves responding to inquiries, facilitating discussions, and encouraging participation.
Moderation: Enforce community guidelines and policies to maintain a positive and safe environment. This includes monitoring discussions, addressing conflicts, and moderating inappropriate content.
Support and Customer Service: Provide support to community members by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and directing them to appropriate resources or personnel.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from community members regarding their experiences, preferences, and suggestions for improvement. This feedback is crucial for enhancing community engagement and satisfaction.
Advocacy: Serve as advocates for both the community members within the organization and the organization within the community. This involves representing the community’s interests and needs to the organization and promoting the organization’s initiatives to the community.
Analytics and Reporting: Track metrics such as engagement levels, growth of the community, and sentiment analysis to assess the health of the community and the effectiveness of their strategies.
Relationship Building: Build relationships with key influencers, stakeholders, and active members within the community to foster collaboration and advocacy.
Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of community strategies and initiatives, aligning them with the organization’s goals and ensuring they meet the needs of the community.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Social media manager
Hands-on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting skills
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Familiarity with web design
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and multitasking skills
Home Office Requirements:
Stable internet connection with at least 50 Mbps postpaid (must provide a screenshot of a speed test)
Computer (at least 16GB RAM and Intel i5 core processor equivalent or up)
