Job Description

We are looking for a creative and dynamic social media manager and content creator to join our team. Our project involves documenting the renovation of a villa through our Instagram account and I will also need support in my online brand presence on LinkedIn as well. The aim is to share valuable insights, tips and engaging content about home renovation and interior design. We are seeking someone passionate about social media, content creation and building an online presence to help us grow our audience across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:

*Manage and grow our instagram account and expand our presence on other social media platforms including facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok.

*Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase engagement, followers and bran awareness.

*Monitor and respond to comments, messages and interactions across all platforms.

*Analyze and report social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

2. Content Creation:

*Generate creative and engaging content ideas for posts, stories, reels and videos. Develop both short form and long form videos for the different social media platforms.

*Plan, shoot, edit and produce high quality photos and videos documenting the villa renovation process.

*Collaborate with me to create information and visually appealing content that resonates with our audience.

*Write compelling captions, blog posts, and other written content as needed.

3. Video Editing:

*Edit raw footage into polished and professional videos for instagram and other platforms.

*Add music, graphics and effects to enhance video quality.

*Ensure all video content aligns with our brand and message.

4. Virtual Assistance:

*Provide administrative support, including scheduling, email management, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.

*Assist in managing and organizing renovation-related documents and files.

*Research and compile information on renovation trends, products and services.

Qualifications:

*Proven experience in social media management, content creation and video editing.

*Proficient in using social media platforms, including instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok.

*Strong skills in phot and video editing software (eg Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva).

*Excellent communication and writing skills.

*Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.

*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

*Familiarity with home renovation, interior design or related fields is a plus.

*Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies.

*Experience in creating and managing paid social media campaigns.

*Familiarity with analytic tools (eg Google Analytics and social media insights).

*Basic graphic design skills.
