Job Description

The client is an award-winning musician dedicated to creating inspiring and soulful music. We are seeking a talented and creative Virtual Assistant to manage the client’s social media presence and handle video editing tasks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Social Media Management:
– Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand presence and engagement.
– Create, schedule, and post content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
– Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers.
– Analyze social media metrics to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.
– Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.

Video Editing:
– Edit videos for social media, YouTube, and other platforms, ensuring high-quality and engaging content (ex: Reels, Youtube Shorts).
– Collaborate with the team to plan, script, and produce video content that aligns with our brand and goals.
– Add graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video production.
– Manage video files and maintain an organized archive of content.

Content Creation:
– Generate innovative content ideas that highlight the client’s musical journey, upcoming projects, and performances.
– Create promotional materials for events, album releases, and other key milestones.
– Develop engaging stories and posts that resonate with the client’s audience.

General Administrative Support:
– Assist with scheduling, email management, and other administrative tasks as needed.
– Conduct research and gather information to support various projects.
– Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all social media and video content.

**Requirements:**
– Proven experience as a Social Media Manager and/or Video Editor.
– Proficiency in social media platforms and their respective best practices.
– Strong video editing skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
– Passion for music and familiarity with the industry is a plus.
